Peridium Ferruginous black with reddish tinge with small flattened warts.
Gleba Grayish-brown furrowed with broad white veins.
Spores Ochre-colored aculeate, varying in number from 3 to 6 per asci.
Scent It gives off a faint scent.
Ripening January to March.
Habitat It is a truffle with no special requirements that adapts to different soils and environments as long as they are free of water stagnation, ranging from the hills up to around 1,000 meters above sea level, often in the same collection areas as Tuber Melanosporum.
