Shape Globular and irregular.
Size Varies from those of a hazelnut to those of an orange.
Peridium Minimally warty with smaller, flattened polygonal black warts.
Gleba Pore-brown in color, traversed by numerous fine whitish veins.
Spores Elliptical irregularly reticulate and honeycombed, clustered in pedunculated axils in number 1 to 3 of dark brown color.
Scent Strong, garlicky odor.
Ripening September to December.
Habitat Lives in the same environments and with the same species of symbiont plants where Tuber Magnatum is collected.
